Dom wants to grow Wayfarer Games into a sustainable games studio which employs, equips and helps developers; creates games that developers themselves want to play; and nurtures a community of active gamers.

The Solution:

 

Wayfarer Games joined the Appt Comms Circle, Appt’s new digital communications consultancy offering.

The Appt Comms Circle helps Wayfarer Games thinks strategically about their digital presence and teaches them how to use social media more efficiently.

Wayfarer Games meet with their Comms Circle account manager every six months and have the option to meet quarterly or monthly if they wish. They also receive monthly insight emails with tips, tricks and industry updates.

During these sessions, Appt and Wayfarer Games discuss short-term and long-term business goals, and how the games studio will use social media to achieve these goals. Appt reviews Wayfarer Games’ digital communications activity since the last session, including statistics, and creates a space for Wayfarer Games to reflect and learn.

Appt then creates an actionable and clear digital communications strategy, which is tailored to Wayfarer Games’ industry and their unique context.

In the first six months since joining the Comms Circle, Wayfarer Games have doubled their Discord community, which was their primary goal.
