ASK4 SOLUTIONS SOFTWARE SYSTEMS
The Client: Ask4 Solutions begun in 2006 under the name BirchenallHowden. Founded in Sheffield by Neill Birchenall and Phil Howden, the company was acquired by the Ask4 Group in 2019. This led to a rebrand of the company to form Ask4 Solutions.
Appt has worked with Ask4 over many years, to develop several bespoke systems which have helped to improve day to day operations.

The Challenge:
Appt has been a trusted external development and digital partner to BirchenallHowden and later Ask4 Solutions for many years.
Ask4 Solutions needed a partner who could help them develop systems as their business grew and expanded.
The systems Appt have built have primarily:
improved the client experience
pulled data from disparate systems
optimised operations
The Solution:
Appt designed a bespoke management portal which helped BirchenallHowden (BH) manage internet connections for their users before their acquisition by Ask4.
After this initial portal was developed, Appt continued to work on the system implementing a client portal for BH to manage their client database.
Both bespoke CRM systems increased efficiency for the day to day working at BH.
Following on from this, Appt continued to improve upon the system as Ask4 Solutions grew. Appt worked closely with the Ask4 Solutions team to design and develop a fully bespoke business centre portal which added the functionality of managing the team’s schedule.
Appt also implemented a client service desk to ensure that customers could raise tickets and issues with their service. With the added functionality of the team’s schedule, someone is always working on the companies support desk to provide a quick response to clients.
Furthermore, Ask4 Solutions can control the data packages and IT allocations for their clients through this portal.
Ongoing Support and Development Agreement:
All this work on the system was ensured as Ask4 Solutions signed an ongoing support and development agreement with Appt to help assist the growth of the system.
This agreement gives Ask4 Solutions 24/7 access to Appt’s support desk where they can log any issues with the portal. They can also use this desk to request any additional features they want adding to their site.
The agreement provides a guaranteed response time from the Appt team to ensure that any issues are addressed rapidly.
