METRO FINANCE CHATBOTS

The Client: Metro Finance are one of the country’s leading brokers of shared ownership mortgages.

They work with over 35 housing associations, help to buy agents and local authorities to promote shared ownership and help clients get a foot on the property ladder.

The Challenge:

 

Metro Finance wanted to streamline and automate the mortgage application process by making it accessible online.

A lot of time was being spent by the Metro Finance team conducting long telephone interviews to assess a client’s suitability.

Metro wanted to cut down the time spent on lengthy telephone calls, improve the customer journey and ultimately process more applications.

Metro sort the help of Appt to scope, design and develop a bespoke system to improve this process.

The Solution:

 

Appt developed several chatbots and intelligent calculators which are embedded in to the Metro website. These chat bots are a more creative and enjoyable way of gathering and displaying key application data. Users answer one question at a time and the chatbot responds with recommendations and further questions. The chatbots are integrated with Metro’s other systems and push and pull data to the relevant places.

This has enabled Metro to process more applications and increase efficiency as telephone applications are no longer required. 

Ongoing Support and Development Agreement:

 

After developing the chatbots, Metro signed an ongoing support and development agreement with Appt to ensure that work continues in an ongoing capacity to further develop and maintain them.
